Campus 2024 International Casablanca with Ali Bougrine and Fabien Gagnerot

On 13 and 14 November 2024, the Casablanca 2024 International Campus, jointly organised by the Paris (Paris Bar Association) and Casablanca Bar Associations, was held at the Sofitel Tour Blanche Hotel. The event brought together legal experts to discuss key issues in Franco-Moroccan relations, administrative and tax challenges for businesses in Morocco, and advances in digital law.

During the session entitled ‘France-Morocco: General framework for Franco-Moroccan trade’, Ali Bougrine, Managing Partner of UGGC Africa and associate lawyer at UGGC Avocats, emphasised the importance of the law and the role of lawyers in developing trade between France and Morocco. He reviewed the regulatory framework for foreign investment in Morocco and the prospects for possible improvements.

Fabien Gagnerot, of counsel at UGGC Africa, was also present, alongside El Mostafa Sabik, Hatim Boukhris and Pierre Besson.
