On this occasion, we’ll be delighted to welcome renowned journalist Tina Kieffer, who will present her career and the Toutes à l’Ecole association she founded in 2005.
After eight years as editor of Cosmopolitan magazine, Tina Kieffer hosted social debates on TF1 for three years, before creating DS magazine, which went on to sell 300,000 copies. She then spent ten years as editor-in-chief of Marie Claire magazine, before deciding to devote herself fully to the Toutes à l’école association, which she founded in 2006 following the adoption of her fifth child from an orphanage in Cambodia. Her Happy Chandara campus near Phnom Penh now provides schooling for 1,700 underprivileged girls and young women.
The Toutes à l’école association, founded sixteen years ago, now provides schooling for 1,700 of Cambodia’s most disadvantaged girls. More than just a school, its Happy Chandara campus includes a kindergarten, an elementary school, a middle school, a high school, two boarding schools, a medical-social center and a family planning center, as well as two hostels for female students.
Its mission is clear: to save the most disadvantaged girls through education, so that they become free and educated women.
