World Power-to-X Summit: signing of an MOU between the Green Hydrogen Cluster, Grant Thornton and UGGC Avocats with Laurent Sablé

UGGC Avocats attended the World Power-to-X Summit with Laurent Sablé, who took part in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Green Hydrogen Cluster, Grant Thornton and UGGC Avocats aimed at providing a legal, tax, accounting and financial platform for the green hydrogen ecosystem in Morocco.

The World Power-to-X Summit was held in Marrakech from 8 to 9 October. The summit took place against a backdrop of global efforts to switch from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources, with green hydrogen and clean fuels taking centre stage. As countries and industries strive to reduce their carbon footprints, the WPTXS provides an essential and timely platform to explore innovative solutions and forge strategic partnerships.

Morocco, with its strategic location and abundant renewable energy resources, is particularly well placed to play a leading role in the development and implementation of green hydrogen technologies. The Kingdom’s commitment to sustainability is illustrated by its ambitious ‘Moroccan Offer’, which aims to leverage its natural assets and technological advances to become a global hub for green hydrogen production.
